    | INTRODUCTION Women's version of the girl's knitted tunic. The pattern is slightly modified to make the garment flattering to wear. The neck shaping is shallowed and made into a high-neck. Dress it up with a nice bright chunky necklace or dress it down with a pair of UGG's boots. Definitely the one to knit for yourself! INFORMATION & CONTENTS Sizes XS [S, M, L, XL] (Chest to fit: 32 [34, 36, 38, 42] inches) Skill Level & Techniques Required: Intermediate. Following techniques are used to make this pattern: circular knitting, cable knitting, grafting (underarm), magic loop method (where necessary). Yarn Used: 10 [11, 13, 14, 15] balls of Jamieson’s Shetland Heather, 1 ball = 50g, 92m (101 yd), shown in charcoal 126. Needles and Notions: 1 x 7US/4.5 mm circular needles, 32”/81 cm long. 1 x 8US/5 mm straight or circular needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. 4 x stitch markers 1 x spare circular needles (5 mm preferable) Waste yarn (to rest stitches) Finished Sizes: Length of the garment up to centre neck back: 77.5 [78.5, 81.5, 82.5, 85]cm / 30.5 [31, 32, 32.5, 33.5] in Length of the garment up to underarm: 59.5 [59.5, 61, 61, 62] cm / 3.5 [23.5, 24, 24, 24.5] in Width at underarm: 43 [48.5, 53.5, 58.5, 63.5] cm / 17 [19, 21, 23, 25] in   |
